Since 2004, the cross-disciplinary Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy (CCGFP) aims to improve the quality of public debates and policy on major corporate governance, ESG, and related financial policy issues, and to promote best practice in the area. These will be achieved through high-quality academic and applied research, education, industry engagement, and consultancy activities covering Hong Kong, Mainland China and other nearby economies. It aspires to be a centre of excellence on corporate governance and ESG studies in the region.

Centre for Sustainable Development Studies

Established in July 2022, the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) aims to conduct research and organise knowledge transfer activities related to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) in global and local contexts. Many CSDS members are currently working on pressing issues related to two areas: (1) Poverty, inequality and mobility (i.e. addressing SDG 1 No Poverty and SDG 10 Reduced Inequalities), and (2) Climate, energy and environment (i.e. addressing SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy and SDG 13 Climate Action).
